Ender 3 Pro Spool Holder and Filament Guide for Direct Drive

This is a spool holder/filament guide combo print. This uses the stock ender 3/ender 3 pro spool holder bracket and is meant to turn the spool so that it goes straight down into a direct drive hot end.

Additional Hardware:

• 1 x m5 nut

Printing:

Printed in PLA. Print in the orientation as shown in the CURA image. I designed it so that it can be printed without supports.

Setup:

1. Remove the original spool holder, saving the bolts and one of the nuts.
2. Slide the print onto the top 20 x 20 extrusion.
3. Place one of the original locking nuts for the bolt hole above the aluminum extrusion.
4. Use a nut for the other bolt.
5. Optionally a section of PTFE tubing can be can and placed into the filament guide for a smoother transition.
