If you have a CR-10 Smart Pro you know the hotend cooling fan is loud. There's a 40mm fan adapter out there for the Sprite hotend but it interferes with the X Axis cover. Well, this keeps everything working and even adjust the alignment of the limit switch. For use when converting to a static pressure fan for the heating element on a sprite extruder.
Version 1 you'll need to reuse your original hardware, M3 heat thread inserts, and as you can see in the pictures I didn't use M2 inserts to hold the limit switch. If you have them use them, otherwise use anything else you have.
Version 2 the mounting holes are reduced to 2.65mm id to give plenty of plastic to cut threads into in case you don't have the brass inserts. I don't think it would matter if you used the inserts or not in this case. I just had them and decided to use them.
