I have designed side rails for my Icom IC-718 to protect the front panel hen traveling with it. You will probably need to trim the ends of the two "top and bottom" pieces to get them to fit. I designed them with tight tolerance so it would be tight enough to hopefully not need to be glued. Overall the width is tight, so it is best to assemble it before sliding it over the front of the radio.

This attaches to the holes designed for the mobile mounting bracket. You will need 4 M5x12 screws to attach it.

This will not work if you have the carry handle and feet installed on the side already. I printed mine with only 15% infill and they seem more than sturdy enough to carry the radio by one of these.

I was able to fit this on my Ender 3 Pro by turning it 45 degrees, but just barely.

As always if you print this, please post a make with pictures, i love it when people do that.

Thanks!

Notes:

I printed this in PLA. I think ABS would be a bette choice if you plan on leaving it in a hot car for any amount of time, but the Hatchbox PLA seems sturdy enough for practical application.
