NOTE!
IF YOU ARENT READING THE REST, AT LEAST KNOW YOU NEED SUPPORT STRUCTURES TO PRINT THIS FILE.
Original .STL's:
Reason of remix:
Both parts use the same location of installation, hence these wouldnt fit. Luckily the parts somewhat follow the same general shapes, and were easily combinable.
I like this horizontal cablechain, as its “more quiet” in my experience. And looks more neat. As the cable chain always follows a set restricted path in the cable gutter.
Modifications/effects:
Settings to print (i printed at):
Support | Yes |
Bed Adhesion | Yes (for flatness), i recommend a 5mm brim |
Material | PETG (PLA should be fine in that area as direct heat isnt applied. Enclosures use at least PETG please.) |
Nozzle Temp. | (for my material/setup) |
Bed Temp | 75C |
Initial Layer speed | 15mm/s |
Subsequent layer speed | 30mm/s ( wanted a real smooth finish ). |
Cooling | 35% |
Infill | 100% for strength. 35%+ should be fine though. 100% is better for the heat inserts and negates warping more when inserting the fittings. |
Support | YES (REQUIRED) be sure the Z distance for your support is at least 1-3x the layer height. My Z distance is .36mm for a .12mm layer height. |
If you got any questions, or suggestions put them in the comments I'll read them.
This version of the STL, uses stock parts + the parts from the original .stl location. So a 3mm heat insert and M3 hex screw. I reccomend to add washers to all parts to spread the load more due to PETG being a bit more brittle.
