Description
This is a new 3D printable prosthetic foot. It has flexible fingers to achieve better walking dynamics.
The design was made in Autodesk Fusion 360 and was printed in several iterations before we have achieved the right fit, function and strength.
This design has not been properly tested properly yet. Use on your own risk.
Print Instructions:
Inner Joint:
- Filament: Prusament PC Blend
- Infill: 25%
- Perimeters: 4
Foot:
- Filament: Filamentum Filaflex 98A
- Infill: 20%
- Fill Pattern: gyroid
- Perimeters: 3 perimeter
- Bottom Layers: 5
Requirements:Driver
- Flat Screw Driver
- Bolt and Nut
- Washer
Assembly Instructions:
- Insert the InnerJoint into the foot. (Note: This is requires some effort. Take the Flat Screw Driver and palce it between the InnerJoint and the Foot to expand it space the between the Foot and the InnerJoint to allow the InnerJoint to rest inside the foot. )
- Place a washer at the bottom of the foot
- Insert the Bolt inside the foot.
- Insert the conventional prosthetic joint and the nut to attach it to the prosthetic foot.
