This is a wall spacer for a Dimplex Linear Convector (LC) Baseboard Heater. It is used to keep the baseboard away from the wall and improve convection and reduce wall temperature.
I moved into a house that had three of these installed and discovered that the previous owner had installed them without these spacers. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could get some replacement spacers but they are on backorder with a four-month wait. So I designed these using the spacer I received with a new unit I just bought so I can print this and install it and then swap them out when the new ones come.
Printer Brand: Creality
Printer: CR10S PRO
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.2
Infill: 40%
Filament: eSUN 3D PETG
Notes:
I would recommend using PETG or ABS to print these supports. My IR thermometer shows the element on this heater gets to around 140-145F (60-62C) which puts it right at the glass transition temperature for PLA. There may be enough separation from the element to the support location; however, I would rather not risk it failing due to heat.
