My best tester is my 2.5-year-old grandson who is very much into trains and has a lovely Brio and Thomas train set. He is very specific about the movement of the wheels and all previous designs ‘failed’ his tests. This design is the best I found, and he has approved it. So, have a go!
You can opt to slice the train for various colour printing which works well. (I have included a GCODE sliced file for the Original Prusa Mini).
I would recommend printing sections of the train in different colours for it to stand out. Either slice it in different parts of prepare it for multiple colour printing.
Insert the magnets into the slots: make sure you have two different polarities on the locomotive! Simply reverse one.
Add a dab of superglue on one of the axel parts before assembling.
