I designed this as one of my early FreeCAD designs. I was inspired when holding the Prusament PETG Clamp in one hand and a coffee in the other. You can use it to hold your remote and your favorite clamp.
The design clamps down on the mug with both the normal clamping area and also between the screw head and the frame body. I wanted it to work with the clamp as is, so it makes the connection less secure and harder to support. Please use caution if transporting liquid or other heavy things by the handle, it will wobble and could drop the cup. (See Version Two for a more secure handle - https://www.printables.com/model/316685-clamp-handled-mug) If using as a cup, please also adhere to food safety guidance to seal the mug prior to use.
I created three versions, one plain, one with random hexagons, and another almost fully covered with hexagons. I had to put it in the sun to showoff the infill through the translucent filaments. The mug is 130mm tall and 100mm outside diameter, it's large and scaled to fit the clamp.
The support is a bit of a challenge, so pick a filament that separates easily. Due to the fixed clamp geometry, I couldn't optimize much for 3d printing. I had to bury the clamp frame deep into the mug, so the bottom support is worse.
I hope you enjoy.
