FLYNN'S Arcade Faux Neon EL Wire Sign from TRON

16" wide replica of the neon sign from the TRON movie using 2.6mm ElectroLuminescent Wire to simulate neon

Printed in Black PETG

This print is two main halves, the left and right side, which make up the sign. Plus a back bracket and 4 back 'nubs' that all trap nuts to secure the neon sign to some backboard.

EL Wire - for 2 color sign follow this, for 1 color, add the lengths together

• ~12 ft red EL wire

• ~20 ft orange EL wire

• EL Wire Inverter to power up to 30 feet

• 5V to 12V Step up USB Cable
• USB Power adapter

The two halves interlock with a dovetail feature. This also traps nuts and is tightened by bolts. In total the hardware list

• 2x - M3x40 bolts to hold the dovetail joint
• 8x - M3x12 bolts to hold the sign to a backboard up to 1/4"
• 10x - M3 Nuts and (optionally) washers to go with the bolts

Print instructions

Print each large half as a separate print (sorry, tried to make it as one but didn't quite work out).
Also print the back bracket and 4 of the nubs. Assemble using the hardware. Run the EL wire in a continuous loop through the board, making out the letters. Put a dab of superglue to hold as needed. Follow guides to wire the power adapters and plug in the sign to have a replica faux neon FLYNN'S Arcade sign.
