Dovetail mount for a Mafell Erika 70/85 pull-push saw, to be used e.g. to extend the table of the saw using a wooden plate (16 mm in thickness).

For maximum strength of the dovetail assembly, print the top and the bottom part such that the groove of the dovetail guide is pointing upwards.

Assembly instructions:

To assemble a dovetail mount

1. insert an M8 hex machine bolt (e.g. DIN 931 / DIN EN ISO 4014 or DIN 933 / DIN EN ISO 4017) into the hex shaped depression of the top part

2. attach an M8 washer into the corresponding pocket in the bottom part, securing it e.g. with a drop of super glue

3. press an M8 nut into the hand wheel part (which is a tight fit, but you might want to add some super glue anyway)

To build a table extension simply mount a wood plate to the dovetail mounts using two screws each from below. Depending on the size/weight of the plate it might need to be supported on its far end, e.g. using some kind of pillar.
