Vase mode battery cases – AA, AAA, and CR123

These are simple battery (AA, AAA, CR123) holders. Fast print in vase mode with a 120% flow rate.

You may need to adjust x-y scale by +-/1-2% to account for the variation of battery sizes. I have printed 30+ holders and only had to do this one or two times.

These are simple battery (AA, AAA, CR123) holders that you can toss in your gear bag.  These are printed in vase mode with a 120% flow rate - see below.  To release the batteries, just squeeze the case from the two ends and shake. The two battery holders can be tight, and it gets looser as the number of batteries goes up.

VASE MODE  (Spiralize Outside Contour in Cura)
Layer Height: 0.28
Line Width: 0.4
Bottom Layers: 3
Wall Flow: 120%
Bottom Flow: 105%
Cooling Fan: 100%

-- The CLEAR cases in the pictures were printed with transparent PETG.  Same settings as above but increased temp +10 than normal PETG, and set the flow rate to 130% with the cooling fan OFF.
