Low Profile Honeycomb Pins for Laser Engravers
by RebelTaz
I have seen these hold down pins for laser engraver honeycomb beds everywhere, but the problem with all of them is that they stick up too far to be useful with "fixed focus" lasers - lasers whose focal length is 2mm above the surface of the work piece. These are, therefore, designed to be 1.5mm above the work piece. The clearance is tight, but as you can see in the photos, the laser is able to clear these while still allowing the work piece to be held securely in place.
