Miniature painting holder

When painting a model in sub-assemblies I found it a pain to hold the small parts, this would often involve gluing and tacking the part to a scrap piece of sprue.

Here is a design I did for holding small parts for painting that can then be placed on you handle of choice (in my case the trusty plastic shot glass)

I've done three designs, 3 arms, 4 arms and 6 arms.

When printing I used a brim to increase to contact area to keep the print more stable.
