The fascia around your muscles will harden over time, unless you get regular massages'. This roller helps you to soften your fascia on muscles that are hard to reach or too painful to work on with the well established products like the “Black Roll”.
Quite a bit of force needs to be applied to the roller while it is in action. Therefore I recommend a good number of top and bottom layers for the handle (I used 8 layers each) and at least 3 or better 4 perimeters.
Also the axis and the wheels needs to take some force, so I recommend 3 perimeters at least.
I have printed all parts with 25% infill, which seems to be sufficient. The outer layers and perimeters are most important for the strength of the parts.
At least for the spring washer I recommend PETG over PLA, because it needs quite a bit of flexibility.
All parts can be printed without support in the uploaded orientation.
In total you need:
This part can be assembled without tools in one minute. Simply put the axis into the handle while you hold one wheel after another into the fork structure. You may snap on one spring washer to one end of the axis before you do this. Once the axis is through the fork completely, put on another spring washer and you are done. Make sure the flat inside of the spring washer rests on the flat part of the axis.
Don't overdo it when using this roller and use it at your own risk.
Your satisfaction is my reward. I wish you relaxed muscles and happy printing!
