Description

PDF

These boxes are the size of a dominion card and the height of the slot in the plastic tray that comes with your expansion. Since the boxes are the same size as a stack of cards they should also fit in most other Dominion organizers. Each box has the symbol for its token and blank boxes of each size are included.

I have created token trays for all Dominion expansions that use tokens through Allies.

I have two versions of each tray, Regular and Silk/Multicolor.
The regular version has embossed token symbols while the Silk version uses the unique properties of the silk sheen to embed the symbols in a completely smooth surface. Alternatively you can print the Silk version on your MMU/Dual nozzle printer for a two-tone container.

The SOLIDWORKS file is attached, and I will upload .STEP files when I get around to it or upon request.

Expansion Guide:

  • Seaside: Tall Coin Tray, Embargo Tray (1ˢᵗ edition only)
  • Prosperity: Prosperity VP Tray , Short Coin Tray
  • Mixed Box (Guilds): Tall Coin Tray
  • Empires: Empires VP Tray, Debt Tray
  • Renaissance: Tall Coin Tray, Wooden Cube Tray
  • Allies: Tall Coin Tray

Printing Notes:

  • Regular Files:
Use 2 perimeters for VP boxes, 2 or 3 perimeters is adequate for everything else

  • Silk Files:
If you have gaps in the symbols, or if it does not show up when slicing with Prusaslicer/SuperSlicer changing the number of perimeters for the symbol objects will usually fix it.
    • Coin, Embargo, Debt:
      • 5 Perimeters on the outer Symbols is a good width. Set the Tray/Lid to 2 and the symbol to 3 perimeters or vice versa
      • Print the interior symbols with 2 perimeters max
    • VP Trays:
      • Print the Lid and Tray with 2 perimeters.
      • Print the  VP Symbols (inside and out) with 1 perimeter for the best results.

  • Wooden Cubes: (Both regular and silk)
Set icon perimeters to 1 and set icon infill angle for wood look: Top 0°, Left 35°, Right 150°
    • Lightly sanded Wood filled filament (Eg Hatchbox Wood PLA) accepts Stain pens quite well and can make cube icon pop! Regular 3d model recommended for use with Wood filament.
