Ender 5 Linear Rails Mod (Updated: 2021/12/03)

New design upload was long overdue. Almost all of the parts have received a revision. This will give you full build plate use and works extremely well!

These are all of the printed components to mod the Ender 5 to use linear rails. I made this as minimalist as possible in order to not need to buy a lot of extra components and to avoid extra flex.

Hardware:

• 3 x 300mm Linear Rails with MGN12H Block
• 6 x GT2 Idler Pulley 20 Teeth 5mm Bore
• 36-ish x M3 Slide in T Nuts OR M3 Hammer Head T Nuts
• 42-ish x M3x8mm Screws
• 6 x M5x20mm Screws
• 2 x M4x35mm Screws
