I needed a monitor arm to attach to my Raising Electronics server rack frame and couldn't find anything purpose built so I hope this helps someone looking to do the same.
I started with this make from stunner2211 over at thingiverse and added in 3D printed bolts, nuts, and washers.
I've also added another VESA plate that doesn't use the tilting joints and a mounting plate for a server rack frame or wall.
I've included bolts for all of the joints however depending on the weight of the monitor you plan to mount I recommend using metal bolts over plastic. I was only mounting light weight Innoview monitors so plastic hinge bolts worked just fine for my use case. I do not recommend using anything but metal for the arm to monitor and mounting plate to wall or rack connections.
I printed these in PLA with a 15% infill for the arms and a 50% infill for the mounting plates. I would not skimp on the mounting plate infill and use at least 30%+.
Between the tube mount, wall mount, tilt, and no tilt vesa plates. Just print the plates, joints, and arms you need for your application. Everything should be modular.
For the bolts:
The M7 22mm goes between the 75mm backplate and joint1 if you are going with the tilt option.
The M7 57mm goes between joint1 and joint2 if using the tilt pieces.
The M7 67mm is for all the arm joints, to each other, the no tilt vesa plate, and the wall mount.
Remember these bolts are plastic… Don't over torque or overload them. Just use metal if in doubt.
