Features

Elegant-looking retractable drawer pull handle, able to fold flat while not being used, and could be pulled up 45° for easy grip.

The folding pin also hides the mounting screws, providing a clean look to the drawer.

Edit [5 November 2022] Added modifications to use screw instead of shaft to mount the pin (Refer folder “Screw Mount”)

• Channel on the housing is enlarged for smooth operation.
• Added buffer to let M3 SHCS screw to sink in nicely.
• Reduced channel diameter on the pin to hold screw threads nice and firm.

Assembly Instruction

Print Instruction:

• No support required.
• Could be printed using the default orientation.
• Recommended print setting:
  • 30% Infill
  • Wall Count: 3
  • Top/Bottom layer: minimum 4

Additional Part Required:

• 1 x ~3mm shaft
  (Preferably metal shaft, but I used bamboo stick and it still works)
• 2 x M3 mounting screws

Assembly:

1. Do not assemble the handle yet.
2. Mount the housing to the drawer using 2 x M3 mounting screws
   Note: Do check on the orientation, the holes for inserting the shaft should point upwards
3. After mounting the housing, place the pin on the housing.
   Note: Same as above, the hole for shaft should point upwards.
4. Finally, insert the shaft.
   
5. For smooth operation, ensure that the pin is loose enough to be pull down flat by gravity.
   (sand the shaft / shaft holes if it is holding too tight)
