Gift Box for 3D Printy Dracula's Tower Puzzle Box

3D Printy Puzzles are gifts that everyone loves but a great gift needs to come in a great box!

This is why I developed this gift box remixing Joe's Twist Lock Present.

This box fits exactly the Dracula's Tower Puzzle Box.

I design an insert to make sure the puzzle fits nicely inside this box.

For ultimate personalization you can customize the optional guard under the top of the box.

This is a great idea for a gift inside the puzzle inside the gift box!

For this version I used the Dracula's Tower itself as the topper for the box which is adding a nice “mise en abyme” perspective. 

PRINTING 

• All 3MF files should have the right configuration
• no support needed
• PLA is working fine for all pieces
• for the insert, it is enough (and recommended) to use a 5% infill with a lightning fill
• everything else with an infill of 15 or 20% is good.
• I would suggest using one color for the box, another for the ribbons and topper and third one for the insert and the mechanism.
• if you want to customize the optional guard, you could add a logo and/or text in Sketchup, Fusion, etc.

• The insert fits in the box with .5mm space so it could be removed easily to use this nice box for other purposed than storage of the puzzle.

UPDATE

• nov. 2022 - I designed BobbleDuck (based on 3DPrinty Bobbleheads) as a gift which fits perfectly inside the maze of the tower. You can's seriously offer this puzzle without a gift inside - so in case you don't have one Bobbleduck is a fun toy!
