This model was designed for a school project in which I had to solve a problem in a unique way, that had not yet been filed in the US patent office. This model is attached to the back of a rear-hinging dog food bin, and keeps track of which meals the dog has been fed. It can be easily switched from a 3 meal a day schedule to a 2 meal a day schedule with the flip of a lever and a new sticker. It utilizes a ratcheting design that is rotated every time the food bin is opened. The only non-3D printed components are the 10mm Diameter aluminum rod, which is used to make hinges in the design.
