This is a trio of bats designed to hold a baseball.
This model does not have much surface area touching the steel plate, so a brim is recommended. I used a 3mm brim. I was able to print it without supports.
I used full length bat dimensions to model the bats, so it will have to be scaled down in the slicer to print. To print at the right size to hold a ball, I set the X dimension at 2". From there, Y calculated at 1.8" and Z at 2". It can be printed bigger or smaller and still hold a ball, depending on your preferences, so that is just a reference to get it about right.
UPDATE: @ProtoHub_624659 provided me with a pre-scaled stl file, which can be found in the downloads under baseball_display_bats_scaled.stl. Thanks!
The photos are from a print with PLA @ 0.10mm layer height and 100% infill.
