I was sick of the printer screen hanging of the side of the table and I wanted to make sure the print bed didn't bump the wall when homing. I figured it would take up less space if I turned it sideways on the table. I looked at some side mounts but didn't really like any of the options I saw. I designed my own. To make attaching to the printer easy I used the mount profile from the Prusa MK3 SideBoxes by KalleKnall.
With a .4 nozzle print at .2 speed settings standing. If you have trouble with the bottom warping you can use a brim.
Once printed you simply unscrew the screen from the front of the machine. Drop those screws in each of the holes of the mount and then fasten the screen to the mount. You will probably need to carefully pull the screen cables out of the extrusion so you have more slack to work with. Then you can easily place the screen on either side of the printer. Note: if you put it on the left side make sure to push it forward so you have enough room to get the SD card in and out.
I will include a few of the earlier versions/simpler designs if you want to remix it/make changes.
