Ikea Tjusig hanger cover

We like the Tjusig hanger and hat racks. They are simple and functional. But when hanging clothes without a dedicated hanger loop, for example just using a hood, the metal hangers can leave marks in the clothes.

This model adds a round smooth half circle that can be added to the metal hanger, reducing the wear on clothes. We're using it for a year now and have no more visible marks.

The side with the little notch goes to the back to account for the bend in the metal hanger.

Print Instructions

This is an easy print, I have used PETG and PLA.

As you can see in my examples, you can swap materials to get a colorful print, this is a simple layer-based change and works well also without an MMU.
