This is a holder for the 18VPower for All battery system of Bosch. It has been tested with an 1,5 Ah battery of the first battery evolution and a 4.0 Ah battery of the current 2019 evolution.

The holder can be chained together by a tongue and groove system.

The holes are for M5 screws (though a bit tight) and 10,5 mm washers.

Files

I added several files:

*holder_single.stl: This file is for you when you don't want the chaining. This part has no groove and no tongue *holder_part_left.stl: This part contains a tongue but no groove. It is the left ending of the chain. *holder_part_right.stl: This part contains a groove but no tongue. It is the right ending of the chain. *holder_part_middle.stl: This part contains a groove and a tongue.

Additional equipment needed

To attach the holder you need two M5 size screws with washers

Orange How I Designed This ===================

I needed two iterations until i reached this version. In the first iteration i added the small fold on the inside of the feather because i realized that a product designer at Bosch decided that the left and the right slot of the battery have different depth. The second iteration was to add the strengthening between the feather and the montage part. Without this a 4 Ah battery bobbed and bounced when applying on the holder. Though it did work the haptics were awful.
