Filament Roller

Universal roller for filament spools.  Will fit any size of spool.

I happened to have two pairs of bearings, 21mm and 18mm (6 and 8mm inner diameters) so I designed this roller around those with the larger bearings to the front (probably less likely to drag the spool towards the edge of the shelf.

Also, by setting the spool on a small shelf above the printer it should reduce vibrating the printers' frame and be quieter.

Other than that it's pretty much the same as many other roller designs.

I used PETG but PLA (etc) would be fine.
0.3mm layer height with 20% infill.
No brim or supports.

Non-printing items:

2x roller skate bearings (6mm inner dia)
2x roller skate bearings (8mm inner dia)

If you're going to slice this yourself you just need to flip the Roller_Side_L in the x dimension and copy both for the 4 required pieces.

The tight-fitting bearings keep the sides together.

The shelf, by the way, is about 170mm square which accommodates Prusa's 2kg recycled filament spool.
