Anti Hanging Cabinet Pull

I told my wife a while back that if she kept hanging things on the pulls i was going to 3d print a knob that would drop everything onto the floor. Well this was the result of that.

There are two versions. One is pre-threaded for 8-32 which is the common thread size for cabinet pulls. The other one has a 6mm hole for an 8-32 brass heat insert. These are the inserts i used; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NBHC7VT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Note that using heat inserts is only necessary if you have bad 3d printer tolerances. With decent tolerances the threads should turn out fine.

Both versions feature an extra hole for an alignment pin. The pin prevents my wife from rotating the pull upside down and turning it into a hook again.

The finished product is extremely ergonomic and feels great. You easily hold onto it and can open drawers with just one finger. 

I printed without support, 50% infill and 4 walls. You can probably get away with less but i wanted mine to be really touch.
