Tension Stud Gear for Singer Fashion Mate 237

This is a replacement part I made for my Singer Fashion Mate 237 sewing machine. It is the gear like plastic bit that holds the thread take-up spring in place. The plastic had deteriorated, and it could no longer hold the spring. I think it will fit many other models of vintage Singer sewing machines that have a similar thread tension assembly.

To replace, remove the original gear, press fit the new gear in place. If the fit is too tight, you can drill out the hole a bit and use glue to secure it in place.

Made in Fusion 360 by measuring the original gear and stud.
