*** Update ***
Somehow I managed to introduce some errors in the geometry of the web which are now fixed. Also added a second version of the base for a flush fit.

A slightly larger version of the E3D Spider.
The model has been split into 3 parts for easier printing.
You will need a 400x400 print area at this scale (600%). If you scale it down to 85% it should just fit on a 300x300 build plate.
The spider web has been simplified and thickened for added strength. I'd suggest slicing with a 1.2mm shell.
I printed mine in ABS and acetone welded the web to the base. The spider was printed hollow with lightning infill just at the top to keep the weight down. At this size you will need supports on the spider legs and the E3D logo on the base.
The author remixed this model.
