Simple remix from Avalance's model but with added tabs that allow the lid to lock in place.
No supports needed.
Print from photos were printed with Prusament Galaxy Black PLA. I've also printed with Inland ABS, but I find that ABS isn't ideal when it gets to the tabs and small areas.. just doesn't look as nice as PLA does. Besides, PLA is more than sufficient for this model unless you expect to be throwing your $600+ drone against brick walls.
Anywhere from 0.2 to 0.35 layer height has proven to be just fine in my prints.
I used 0.6 nozzle for the case, but during my test fit prints of the lid I found that 0.6 leaves the tabs a little messy, so I switched it to 0.4 and it came out flawless. I believe it was the extrusion width, so I probably could've just lowered it and stayed with the 0.6, but I can't confirm.
The .3mf file includes snug supports for the tabs (adds maybe 1-2 mins to total time – using the settings I included they come off effortlessly and cleanly, so I recommend using them) and modifier blocks that make sure the tabs use 100% infill (which is why the 3d model viewer makes it look like the tabs are big blocks).
Use only 2 perimeters on the tabs (so there's room for infill). If the tabs are made entirely of perimeters and no infill it actually makes them weaker, so pay attention to that.
