I loved this espresso accessories shelf, but it didn't fit the offset lugs on my Gaggia Classic Portafilter. I designed this one with two Ø64.5mm spots for a tamper and a WDT tool, and a hanger that fits this funnel I designed for IMS baskets. The hanger should also work with most dosing funnels that extend around the outside of the portafilter.

The model is designed to be hung up with large command strips and has four pockets on the back that the tails of the command strips can be tucked into for a clean look. The tails can be pulled back out for easy removal with a toothpick or needle if needed.

The WDT tool shown in this photo is by vjapolitzer and can be found on Thingiverse.

Food Safety

Printing a part from food safe plastic does not make it food safe! The surface of FDM 3D prints traps bacteria and is usually not water-tight, even if it looks like it is.

Since the items this shelf holds can be wet and are frequently in contact with coffee, consider coating it with a food contact rated epoxy. The shelf in the pictures is coated with MAX CLR which is formulated for direct food contact in accordance with FDA regulations. Always follow all manufacturer curing and use guidelines to ensure the finish is food safe. Be sure to wash the part with warm soapy water after the epoxy cures before using.

If you do epoxy the shelf, make sure to sand the back flat-ish before applying the command strips for better adhesion.

Printing Recommendations

The shelf is generally straightforward to print, but it will need supports for the overhangs that lock in the portafilter. You may need supports for the pockets on the back as well if you're not confident in your printer's bridging ability.
