Super simple over-the-door hook I designed for holding a bath towel.
It's specifically designed for a door that measured 35 mm thick; therefore the model has a clearance of 36 mm. It worked perfectly when I printed it.
Because it's only 2 mm thick, the model is 60 mm wide to add some strength. Because of its width, this hook probably will not accommodate a regular clothes hanger.
Because it needs to be thin, I used 3 perimeters of .333 mm each-- which means that the entire model is printed as perimeters/walls (6 lines thick, in total), since these will always be perpendicular to the stress.
I used a layer height of .3 mm for speed.
This model should be able to be printed without any supports.
However, all the edges are very beveled; so using a brim or even a raft may help.
Mine printed just fine with supports on build plate only, and no raft or brim.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
