IKEA TVÄRS LED bulb

For an IoT LED Lamp workshop that I am developing, I wanted participants to be able to walk away with a finished product but did not cost a lot (budget was about $10/person). IKEA's TVÄRS table lamp ($4) helped me accomplish this goal. Its description reads:

Our designer was challenged to create the world’s cheapest lamp without compromising on design. He came up with TVÄRS – a fun, futuristic mood lamp that looks like it came from outer space. Well done!

The workshop version of the lamp has the LED strip wrapped around a cardboard tube from a toilet paper roll. I wanted to provide this model as an option for making the lamp a little fancier as a next step. It's also great for makers who want to take on a quick project.
