Each of these little lanterns together with one link measures 35mm (just under 1 ½") and takes just one gram of material. That means that one kilogram of filament is enough to make more than thirty metres of chain!
It's a stupidly simple print, and the chain tolerances are deliberately generous enough to make assembly simple and fun, although if you are making these as a wearable item, a little drop of your favourite super glue on the opening of each link piece will give a little more security in use.
I've printed these in “Made for Prusa” Yellow PLA with a 0.4 Nozzle and 0.2mm layers, but I think just about any filament or setting will work just as well.
