I designed these brackets to fixate the bird feeder having a 70x70mm wooden pole at my railing in winter time.

Basically you can use just 2 screws for each bracket if you want to remove the pole more often. But additional 2 screws can be used to secure against unintended lifting.

There is brackets for a 42.0mm and a 26.5mm steel pipe.
The 26.5mm additionally is available also with 2mm offset in case you have a protecting foot (like https://www.printables.com/model/360565-protection-foot-for-wood-pole).

The nuts have been design with my nut clearing template (https://www.printables.com/model/364572-nut-clearing-templates), which means:

  • nut cavity can be printed without any support
  • for easy assembly nuts can be pressed in and will not fall out again

For each holder you need:

  • 4x screw M5x16
  • 4x nut M5

For the pole you need:

  • 4x screw 4 x 40 mm

Printing:

Filament: ASA or PETG

Infill: for maximum robustness I used 100%

Support: not needed
