My bunk bed ladder screw got loose and the whole bed frame became flimsy and difficult to climb on.
Instead of spending 20 minutes on drilling a new hole and inserting a new screw, I spent about 6 hours measuring, designing, modeling and printing a bracket to hold the ladder firmly against the bed and hold my weight when climbing on top. It was totally worth it!
The end result looks stylish with some tiny hexagons for extra flair. It holds my weight and with a help of a little strip of a double sided tape, it's not going anywhere.
Although the L shape looks like it would be easy to break, it holds really well because the force exerted is always perpendicular to the joint as it has no room to twist and bend.
Easily one of my favorite prints :D
