It is nice, but the lid is a very snug fit when printed in ABS. It is to hard for me to use this way. I do not want to damage the lenses or the motorised IPD mechanism. I guess I will try again in TPU or resize it to 102% or something like that.

@MoppelMat the fitment is of course dependant on the printer you're using and its tolerance capabilities. This was a quick draft, and printed on my MK3S which has quite good tolerances. In any case, this cannot damage the IPD mechanism, as that is on the inside of the headset and not exposed to the user. As you said, upscaling it to 101% or 102% could solve that. That said, ABS is quite soft, so if anything you'll probably deform the printed covers before damaging the lenses. TPU might be preferred. My example was done in Prusament PETG.

That said, I made this when there were no other models yet, and it seems like there's better ones out there now. So this model might be redundant now :) (edited)
