None of the existing wedges for the G4 doorbell fit my needs, so i made one that did.
This wedge puts the doorbell at 90 degrees to the door for doorbells that are mounted perpendicular to the door.
I didn't trust the snap-on mounting to the original doorbell mounting plate (or my designing skills), so this mount is made to fit 2 M4 threaded (pictures show M5, but that has been changed afterwards) inserts so that the doorbell can be secured to the wedge using countersunk M4 screws no longer than 40 mm.
The wedge itself is mounted using either keyhole slots or 2x 4 or 4.5 mm woodscrews of appropriate length.
My print:
Filament: Polymaker Polylite PLA (doesn't quite match the doorbell, unfortunately)
Layer height: 0.15 mm
Nozzle size: 0.6 mm
Infill: 15%
I printed it standing up, with supports for the screw holes and the large inner cavity. It takes a bit of work to remove everything, but it makes the curve look better.
