Sewing Machine (Necchi 559) pedal top cover replacement

Replacement for pedal top of a sewing machine.
(Necchi 559).

After the pedal fell off a table, the top part was broken.
I designed a replacement part so the safe operation of the pedal was possible again.

Material: PETG or PC
                (The used material must not contain any electrically conductive additives 
                  like carbon fibers, metal, etc. !
                  The material must also provide sufficient mechanical properties.)

Printing: 
        I used the structured metal sheet (PRUSA) for printing to generate 
        the rough surface on the pedal top.

Attention - mains voltage - potential life hazard:

• The pedal has contacts and wiring with mains voltage (230 V~) 
  → Potential risk of electric shock
   
• Unplug the pedal from mains and machine immediately when you detect a broken pedal-housing
  Make sure children and other persons unaware of the damage and the related risk do not have access to the damaged part … keep it in a safe place.
   
• Unplug the pedal from mains plug and sewing machine before taking any actions for repair.
   
• The repair and functional checks must only be performed by a skilled electrician.
  (Don't do anything unless you really know what you are doing!)
   
• For your own safety: Electrical safety regulations have to be obeyed.
   
• Any changes to the original pedal are done at your own risk.
