Protein Powder Dispenser

This is a dispenser for protein powder or any other powdered mix that utilizes the same type of wide-mouth opening and lid system. I made the stand out of wood and painted it. The wooden platform is 7.5" tall so you can fit a protein/blender bottle underneath it.

Parts:

All parts are printed at .2 mm height. The base was printed with supports since it has a lip underneath to help line up the bottle.

It would be better to print the funnel with a translucent type of PLA so you can see when you are running out of powder. You may have to sand the slider in order for it to slide smoothly. I used some Gorilla Glue to glue the parts together (I like the gel type).

4 wood screws about 3/4" long attach the base to the wood platform.

Operation:

put your bottle underneath and move the slider all the way back and then all the way forward and it will deliver 45 g of powder. If you want only 1 scoop (35g) then put the 35g sleeve into the hole before you operate the unit.

Update: After using my dispenser a few times the handle on the slider broke off so I beefed it up and added the update in the Thing Files. I guess because it was printed with only 20% infill it wasn't strong enough. You could also print this part with a greater infill.
