I put in a vinyl garage floor recently. Most of my tool cabinets are on castors. However some of the cabinets have very small castors since I need to keep the cabinets as low to the ground as possible in order for them to slide under my workbench. I didn't want the small castors to dig into my vinyl floor so I designed these low profile, high surface area rollers to screw onto the bottom of my cabinets. The overall height of each roller is about 1.5". Slide the sprinkler pipe over the 3D printed inner tube and related hardware as shown in the picture and then place the assembly into the Roller Bracket as you push the bolt all the way through. There is also a recessed cavity to hold the nut in place.

There are 6 holes on the bottom that allow you to screw these units onto the bottom of cabinets with some 5/8" or longer screws.

Parts:

2-skateboard bearings

3/4" sprinkler pipe (2.5" long)

One 5/16" bolt that is 3.5" long.

One 5/16" nut

Two 5/16 or 3/8" washers with an outside diameter of 7/8" (need to fit inside the pipe)

I printed the parts using PETG with a 50% infill but you could use a higher infill if your are screwing them on very heavy cabinets.

UPDATE: I made the area around the nut head and bolt a little thicker for added stability.
