Not all pegboards are made the same as many of us I am sure have found out. So I have modified a couple of pieces here and will try to summarize what problem each of my pieces are intended to solve. Note all original pieces by the original designer end in “_ByTwogz”.
Problem: the distance between holes in the pegboards can vary pretty significantly. For my pegboard this led to the ends either being just too close together or just too far apart.
To solve this particular problem I simply created longer hooks. You certainly could simply slide part B on the left and right toward each other, but the distance was enough for me that it started to feel wobbly and unstable. This extended piece allows for up to 20MM additional variability between hole distances. I don't think I would use the shorter arms for any setup moving forward after using these longer arms, regardless of distance between peg holes.
Problem: I use regular paper towels in my 3D printing shop and most paper towel rolls are too thick for the current design
The paper towel rolls I use have a 75MM radius approximately. The current design only has 55mm of space from the base to the center of what would be the roll. So I simply extended the length of PartB by 20mm, therefore creating a 75mm distance from center of roll to the base of the mount. Please comment if you need a different length, since I am already setup for having made this modification I can easily make additional lengths.
