A keychain for modern Tetris fans!
This keychain displays two 10w12h Tetris matrices(playfield), one on each side, so you can show off some of your favorite openers in the game.
There are 5 matrices you can choose from:
- DT Cannon
- Trinity
- Side 4-Wide
- Center 4-Wide
- Mountainous 2
Instructions
- Print any 2 of the matrices, one for each side. (Print down flat)
- Print the case. (Print upright, with supports)
- Glue the matrices into the case.
Notes
Use different colors of filament for the matrix and the case, if possible.
For the ease of modeling, each Tetris "cell" was set to be exactly 5mm - this makes the whole thing about 70x90mm in size, which feels a little big to me.
Personally I found that printing everything at 70% scale feels about right.
The clearance between the matrix and the case is 1mm (0.5mm on each side) - I believe this should be enough for most printers. But if you're scaling the model way smaller, or if you printer is not very well calibrated, you might find that the clearance is not enough. In this case, you can use the Case-ExtraClearance model file that doubles the clearance to 2mm.
If you know your way around Blender, you should be able to make your own matrix by editing the .blend file.
