This is my first thing post, and I welcome any constructive criticism. This is a case with magnetic closure for an Apple pencil version 1.
I took inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2135513, but found a number of things that didn't work for me. A test print didn't produce a usable model for me; because, the dimensions weren't quite right. Plus being in the US, I was unable to get the magnets Hinkelder linked to.
I redesigned the entire case in Tinkercad using the dimensions for magnets I found at https://www.apexmagnets.com/magnets/1-2-x-3-8-x-1-8-rings-neodymium-magnet, and the Apple Pencils dimensions (found on internets). The magnets are glued into place. I don't use the adapter, so I didn't include that part. I wanted a sphere at the end to protect the tip as well. After a couple of versions, this is my final result.

Supports:
No
Resolution:
0.15
Infill:
50%
Filament:
Monoprice PLAblue
Notes:
I printed with the "normal" settings in Cura adjusting temps and flow for my PLA. I think the infill was at 50%, but the design is mostly walls. I did print with a brim to hold it down. There is very little surface area on the print bed.
Required parts:2 ring magnets (make sure to face them properly when seating)
I did not use supports, and it required some clean up in the magnet insets. After cleaning up the insets, I sanded, filled, and painted the body and cap. Once I was happy with the paint job, I mounted the magnets (again, make sure you mount these correctly). I used super glue to hold the magnets in permanently.
