This frame is designed to work perfectly with a HyperPixel 4.0 square display and the Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+. When you insert the display with the connected RPi into the screen, you will need to remove the SD card from the RPi and then reinsert it through the hole in the side of the frame. Inserting the optional support pins into the round holes in the back of the frame will help keep everything in place.
The project instructions I used for making an album art display for a Sonos system are here: https://www.hackster.io/mark-hank/sonos-album-art-on-raspberry-pi-screen-5b0012
