Skull with Mustache (V2) - Candy Bowl | Halloween Decoration

*UPDATED to V2 - The mustache is now more robust. It prints very well, is sturdier than V1, and perhaps most importantly looks very suave (as all well-maintained mustaches do).  I believe that this will print very well at smaller sizes if you want an M&M or Skittles bowl for the coffee table, but I haven't tried yet. [UPDATE: tried it. 50% works great as a skittles bowl, and its kinda cute!]

So I was looking at the Realistic Skull Candy Bowl | Halloween Skull Decoration by Thinkable and my son said “You should print that with a mustache.” BRILLIANT! 

Mustache design credit goes to Jstander and the The Stash model on Thingiverse.

I printed this with 5% infill as it is still very sturdy using PLA Plus and reduced the print time by a couple of hours (I went from about 17.5 hours with 10% down to around 15.5 hours at 5%.) You may be able to get away with even less if you don’t have kids trying to stand on it or something ;)

This time I’m including a .3mf file with my settings for your convenience. The support material is easily removed and finished product looks great. 

• Printed @ 95% to fit Prusa Mini
• 5% infill
• .20mm layers
• .4mm nozzle
• Some supports on the underside and for the ‘stache. (See 3mf file)
