The socket cover of my central vacuum cleaner system was broken and and no longer closed properly... This generated air leaks in the system

I decided to design a new cover and pint it with my MINI+
Design
Design from Fusion 360 is quite simple. I took main measurements of the original model and design the new part adapting to 3D printing and printer tolerances
I did 2 prototypes before finding the right size and shape for a perfect fit.

Printing instructions
The 2 prototypes were printed in low cost recycled PLA

The definitive part in White PLA.

I used standard PrusaSlicer parameters with 0.20mm layer height
Assembly
To fix the flat seal and the washer on the cover, I just heat the top part to to deform it

Socket is now ok and close properly automatically thanks to the spring. No more leak in the vacuum system
Once again 3D printing allowed me to quickly repair a part and at a lower cost
On top of .stl and .3mf files, I uploaded Fusion 360 .f3d file so you can modify the design and adapt it to your needs
As usual, feedback and comments (and for sure "likes") will be always welcome. Feel free to post nice pictures of your makes
Enjoy
