I have an old Electrolux RC1600 camping fridge. The fridge is probably 30+ years old but was still working fine. Except for the hinges, they have been broken for almost 20 years. With the power of 3D printing I created a new hinge. The first iterations had the hinge pin included but this turned out to weak.
In the last iteration I just created a hole for a 6mm steel rod and this has been working perfectly. This steel rod threads through the entire lid to the other hinge.
Printed with PETG and it's holding up fine, I might do a new version in ASA if this one ever fails me.
