The Tricks

Building your 'Wand'!

This is the ultimate magic wand and though it may look like 3 wands to the untrained eye all magicians know it is really the same wand. ;)

Things to Note:
Parts have been made to fit firmly in most cases, a slight sanding, drill or glue may be required. (dependant on your printer)

Construction wand 1

Printed Parts:
  2x Standard End
  1x Tight Fit Tip
  1x Soft Fit Tip
  1x Plug

  Kids
     1x Wand Body
  Adult Wand Body
     2 x Wand Body 
     1 x Joiner (to Make an Adult Wand)

Parts:
  Millinery Elastic (Hat Elastic)
  1 X Tubular magnets 4mm x 4mm
  Glue (for magnets)

Hint:
Feed elastic through once then back up, stretch thread and tie off (must be a firm fit)
Elastic seems to bounce back nicer but frays a bit after some use (Jelly Elastic may not to bounce back as nicely but won’t fay)

Printed Parts:
  1x Standard End
  1x Hollow End
  1x Tight Fit Tip
  1x Soft Fit Tip
  2x Magnet Holder
  1x Plug

  Kids
     1x Wand Body
  Adult Wand Body
     2 x Wand Body 
     1 x Joiner (to Make an Adult Wand)

Parts:
  Millinery Elastic (Hat Elastic)
  3 X Tubular Magnets 4mm x 4mm
  Glue (for Magnets)
  Tinsel 5mm x 5mm or something Shiny

Hint:
Feed elastic through once then back up and tie off (must be a loose fit)
Make sure poles of magnets are the correct way around before gluing…. yeah oops

Hint : This isn't required as you can use a pencil instead

Magic Box

Printed Parts:
  1x Lid
  1x Box
  1x Base
Little bit of filament

Hint:
The Holes may need to be drilled out with a 2mm bit drill bit, break off a but of filament and use it as the "wire" for the Hinge then use a lighter to melt the end and flatten

Kids Star Wand

Printed Parts:
  1x Wand Body
  1x Standard End
  1x Tight Fit Tip
  1x Plug
  1x Star Front
  1x Star Back

Parts:
  Millinery Elastic (Hat Elastic)
  1 X Tubular Magnets 4mm x 4mm
  Glue (for Magnets)
  1 x Item to appear
  1 x a bit of wire of the Hinge
  1x fishing wire

Hint:
I have added a magnet to the standard end as it is easy, Make sure the elastic on the star is Taut as it needs to bounce back easily
