Retainer clip for National Manufacturing Co, Sterling Illinois, pocket door No. 882.
Unfortunately, National is out of business. I have three of their pocket doors in my mid-1970s home which were added during a rather extensive remodel in the late 1990s. I love these doors. Solid, quality materials, smooth operation. And for 20+ years, flawless.
About a week ago one of the doors popped off its rear hanger. It was a rather simple process to remove the trim and extract the door. And the problem was immediately obvious. The rear hanger retaining clip was missing. It wasn't broken. It hadn't popped out of the hanger. It was never installed.
Using the clip from the front hanger, I designed and printed a replacement clip. It works perfectly! In fact, it worked so well I was tempted to print a second clip and replace the front one too.
So I know this is a super niche model; but hopefully, it can help someone else too.

PLA worked fine. PETG may be a better choice because it's more flexible. I was just too lazy to change the fillament. Honestly, I did not expect the first print to work.
