Atlas Lamp v2 Remixed to hold an Echo Dot 4th Gen. Thought this would be a fun project.

Scaled and remixed in Fusion 360.

  • Added a statue base for stability, the Dot is heavy enough you need a base.
    • Will add a plain non-embossed base later.
  • Added an Echo Dot base that molds to his neck, head, and shoulders since the Echo Dot is not a complete sphere.
  • Recessed M3 SHCS screw holes modeled in the Statue base and Echo Base.  You will need to drill the statue to use the holes.  Glue will also work.

Filaments Used (not affiliate links):
Statue and Base: GizmoDorks Metal Fill Copper PLA, very small amount of copper, enough to tarnish, really should use bronze for this statue. Noticeably heavier than normal PLA, perfect for the base.  I think it may have clogged a few places causing the noticeable striations, or I may just need to tune the new drive setup.  I have non-fill silk Bronze coming and will retry when I have time.
EchoBase: Marble PETG Not a brand I normally buy, but really impressed.  Matches the fabric on the Glacier White Echo Dot perfectly.

Printing Instructions  (Cura 5.1, Voron 2.4):
45% gyroid infill for the statue base.
25% lighting infill for everything else.
I used tree supports, probably should use regular support for easier removal.
